چکیده

مقدمه: اضطراب جدایی کودکان یکی از اختلالاتی است که تأثیر منفی در سازگاری اجتماعی، روابط باهمسالان و پیشگویی کنندۀ اختلالات روانپزشکی در دوران نوجوانی است و در صورت عدم درمان این اختلال تا سنین بزرگسالی ادامه پیدا میکند و از اینرو مشکلات بسیاری فرا روی فرد قرار می گیرد؛ بنابراین شناسایی درمان مؤثر برای این اختلال، ازجمله اثربخشی درمان شناختی-رفتاری متمرکز بر واحد پردازهای بر اضطراب جدایی کودکان، هدف پژوهش بود.

Structural equation modeling (SEM) of separation anxiety in children according to the mother’s personality, attachment style and children maladaptive schemas

چکیده:

Separation Anxiety is one of the disorders which affects in children’s educational activities and also in their social adjustment, so, the purpose of this study was identifying factors affecting this disorder. This study is correlation type and structural equation modeling. The statistical method was 620 mother-child (6-7 years old girls and boys) pairs from Qom city that were selected by stratified cluster sampling. To collect data, NEO Five-Factor Personality test, Children maladaptive Schema Questionnaire, and Child Symptom Inventory were used. Data was analyzed by using of structural equations modeling, and was approved by Using structural equation modeling analysis and appropriate fitness model was approved. Comparative fit index was equal to 0.726 and incremental fit index was higher than 0.9, respectively. In the standard model, the causal relationship means between two paths “mother’s personality” and children’s mediator variables “Attachment” and “maladaptive schemas” and finally on the dependent variable, the “separation anxiety” was seen. Results show the direct negative impact of “Mother’s personality” on “child attachment style” which “The attachment of the child” as a mediator variable by a factor of 0.34 had more impact with respect to “children maladaptive schemas”. “Mother’s personality” shows positive and direct impact on the “children maladaptive schemas” and finally on the dependent variable

Efficacy of Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) on Reduction Separation Anxiety Symptoms in Children Aged 6-7 Years

چکیده:

Background   Separation Anxiety in children is a disorder with negative impacts on social harmony and relationships with peers. Without proper treatment, it may, over time, lead to other anxiety disorders or negative performances in various aspects in adulthood. It is associated with many problems and, therefore, the identification of effective treatment for this disorder, including Child –Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) to alleviate separation anxiety in children was the purpose of this research.  Methods   This was an experimental study with pre-test, post-test and follow-ups (2 and 3 months) along with a control group. Using multi-stage cluster sampling, 388 children was selected from pre-school and first grade levels in the city of Qom (Iran). After screening, 76 children showed symptoms of separation anxiety disorder; from them, 31 children were selected randomly and divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received CPRT, individually; while the control group received no intervention. “Child Symptom Inventory” was used to collect data in four stages: pre-test, post-test and two follow-ups (2 and 3 months). Analysis of variance with repeated measurements test applied to data.  Results     statistical tests showed significant difference between control and experimental groups. In addition, the results showed that the variables of time and interaction between treatment, gender and age were statistically significant (α=۰.۰۵). Also, the 2- and 3-months treatment period showed significant reduction in separation anxiety in children.  Conclusions   In general, the results of the present study confirm the effectiveness of CPRT in reducing symptoms of separation anxiety in children of both sexes aged 6-7 years. With respect to the effectiveness of CPRT, the use of this protocol is recommended. Keywords: separation anxiety, children, child-parent relationship training (CPRT)

A comparison of the effects of solution-based group learning and traditional teaching on the critical thinking of Teacher Training students m

چکیده:

 This study aims at a comparison of the effects of solution-based group learning and traditional teaching on the critical thinking of Teacher Training students. The research method was quasi-experimental using a two-group design and pre-tests and post-tests. Our sample consisted of 55 students having a Teacher Training associate degree (1385-1384) from Qom Azad University, from which 30 persons were selected as experimental group for solution-based group learning and 25 persons were selected as a control group for traditional education. Research is carried out using California Critical Thinking questionnaire and t-test was used to analyze the data. Results showed that the critical thinking disposition (the presence of systematic and ordered components in the research and maturity of judgment while considering all the aspects) in the group which were trained using group solution-based learning was higher than the control group who were trained by the traditional way but in other factors of Critical Thinking (Truth-seeking, curiosity, being analytical, selfconfidence and open-mindedness) no difference was observed

The effect of training self-awareness and anger management on aggression level in Iranian middle school students

چکیده:

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of self-awareness skills and Anger Management on Teenagers Aggression. The research method was quasi experimental with pre test-post test design and control group. The experimental groups received training program in 6 sessions (each one hour), all participants answered the questionnaire in post test. Finally, questionnaires data and Demographic information have been used for analysis and Hypothesises were tested by co-variance (ANCVOVA) analysis. Results indicated that the post-test values have been affected by the independent variables (F=154/662, P<0.05). Results showed that self-awareness skills and Anger Management had a positive effect on Teenagers Aggression
